Whatever your experience – from beginner student to teacher to professional musician – you are welcome to share your passion for your instrument and join fluters from across the Midwest in promoting our region and our music.
You will meet musicians with classical, jazz and folk backgrounds. You’ll share experiences and experience! And whatever you play – from orchestral flute to shakuhachi, from traverso to alto flute, from penny whistle to piccolo — if you love the flute, we love you!
Indyflute's mission is to foster communication and learning and promote our instrument and our music throughout the Midwest and the nation. Through sponsored concerts, masterclasses, flute fairs, competitions, educational pursuits and other flute related events, we will share with our neighbors the talents, experiences, and passions of our member musicians and friends.
